LensKart is trickily luring customers by advertising in different websites. More or less every website I have visited has an advertisement of Lenskart. They lure the customers with deep discounts, but the actual trick lies there. Once you visit the website discounts are offered only on limited items, and they never offer steep discounts on branded items like Fastrack, Rayban etc. But the users will be lured to review other products which look promising, but the actual product is substandard.
I wanted to buy a Fastrack Sunglasses, looking at the advertisements got attracted to the website looking at the discounts offered, when I planned to order the Fastrack Sunglasses the discounts are not applicable on branded items. I was attracted to some other items listed for which discount is applicable and ordered the same. But after receiving the product I realized that the product that I purchased for 300/- would be worth not even 100/-.
Another trick that they follow is that for branded items they don’t provide pictures of the items in multiple angles and that the images are slightly blurred. So that users will be hesitant to buy the branded products without clear idea of how the glasses would look and would get attracted to other items in the list.
They are providing 25% on Fast Track sunglasses but the same discount is available in the Fast Track website, There is no extra discount that LensKart is offering.
I just thought to share my experience so that I can bring some awareness.
One last word don’t go for BULTACO, VIVID, YTM, they are nothing but road side products sold online at a premium.
