Ordered specs from Lens Kart. The ordering procedure was simple and straight forward. They took two - three days to ship it. I believe that it is more and local shops can deliver same day or maximum the next day.
Then started the ordeal. The courier(ECOM) they shipped through was pathetic. No local telephone nos and only no is of their customer care in Mumbai. I called the courier company every day and after a long hold they gave the same answer - it will be delivered the same day. This circus went on for four days. Every day the courier and lenskart site will mention that it will be delivered today. At the end of the day it will be updated as Person Not available. No delivery attempt or any thing will be made.
I escalated to Customer Care - Lenskart on day 1 with all the details. They don’t have any support or and will NEVER help you out. Sent mails; called them up and chatted online with Lenskart every day. No support other than standard answers like - It will be delivered today; We are sorry for the inconvenience; We have escalated to our team.
Finally after few days of waiting went and purchased from Titan Eye+. Much better and simpler experience. Got it the same evening. But when the shipment came I did accept it as unlike Lenskart I am a Gentleman and once ordered I never reject it whatever is the reason.
Won’t comment on the frame quality and others as I got what I ordered. It is flimsy and not upto the mark but then that is my problem and should have been careful. But the rating is purely because of after sales service.
Overall very disappointed with their services.
