During my recent visit to India, had to visit the Leopold, very much in the news these days due to the Nov 26 attacks in Mumbai and for the mention as the book Shantharam opens its pages. Have been to Leopold during my earlier visits to India but this time it felt different. history was made here, both fiction and non-fiction. bought a Leo tee-shirt and took some of their logoed paper napkins for my friends in Canada.
Loved the very friendly guy at the counter and his helpful staff. food was good(butter chicken) though a lil spicy for my palate. the second time, stayed safe with some sandwiches.
Convenient place to hang out, meet friends and yet have this feeling that you are somewhere special.
