I would like thank all the people who have put up their reviews on this forum.
I was planning to buy a Sony LED TV worth around 85000/- from lets buy as I was getting it around 5k cheaper from the market. I had called them to check about Letsbuy and almost placed the order. But good sense prevailed and I thought of doing some check on mouthshut, post reading all the reviews here I feel the saving is not worth the effort and the frustation that would creep in if the delivery does not happen on time. Given the value of the transaction I think it would be much more wise to buy it from elsewhere.

P.S.- Though practically I have not bought from Letsbuy but have still given them a rating here basis the opinion I am forming about them.

After I posted the above comment I got a call from Mr Pawan from Letsbuy who assured me that my fears and concerns were not correct and that I should give Letsbuy an opportunity to prove themselves.
So after a lot of thought and convincing of my family & assurance by Mr Pawan that the product is in stock and will be delivered on time, I finally placed the order for the 85000/- LED TV from Letsbuy(Order No - LSB - 435498). Since I had read about a lot of cases where the credit card payment had not got through for 2-3 days, so I even called up Letsbuy and was confirmed by Mr Amit that the payment had been received.
Now I am keeping my fingers crossed hoping to receive the delivery of the product. Will keep you all posted on same. I am wishing this turns out to be a pleasant buying experience from Letsbuy.

8th Oct.
The sequence of events so far is:
Oct 1 - Order placed and also got a confirmation that payment was received.
Oct 4 - Product dispatched from Delhi. Dont know y it took 3 days to do dispatch it! Also I was told that the product is available at their Bangalore warehouse so I do not understand the dispatch from Delhi?
Oct 5 - I tried calling Safexpress to chk on status of delivery. Got fed up. They just dont take the call.
Oct 6 - Safexpress courier dispatches it from Delhi to Bangalore. I called up Mr Pawan asking why is so much delay happening when product was at Blore. He assures he will chk how he can expedite delivery.
Oct 7 - Mr Pawan calls me and assures me that he has had a word with their logistics team and the product dispatched from Delhi is going to return to Delhi and a new product will be dispatched from the Blore warehouse, which I shud receive latest by Oct 8.
Oct 8 - I called up Mr Pawan to check on the status of delivery asking if I could have the courier details for Blore dispatch. He said he will revert. Its 5 p.m. now and neither Mr Pawan has reverted nor the TV has been delivered.
I should mention that though Mr Pawan has been very reassuring but still I am a very nervous person right now. Keeping my fingers crossed still!

After following up with Letsbuy continuously, I was assured that the delivery would happen on 10th. Was disappointed again. Then was assured on 11th that delivery would happen on 11th. Disappointed again.
Then was told on 11th evening that there were some issues with Letsbuys payment to the vendor and so the TV was not procured yet at Bangalore.
Then on 12th Mr Pawan again called me in the morning and confirmed that the sanction to procure the TV has been taken and that it would get delivered latest by 13th Oct.
Thankfully the TV got delivered on 13th noon. I must appreciate the packing. It was very well done in a wooden crate.
Now looking back at it, would like to highlight a couple of points:
Because of the value of the purchase, I was certainly nervous. I would have probably not panicked but for a couple of instances / conversations with the Letsbuy team and some revelations that came along that I started to doubt them.
I thought when they say on the website that the delivery time is 7-10 days, they mean from the time from the date of placing the order / confirmation of payment. But I was in for a rude shock when I was told that the same is from the day of dispatch from there premises. So that practically means that the delivery time is actually the time taken by the courier service to deliver. So letsbuy can hand over the product a week later to the courier service and still claim that it wud reach on time.
I am hoping the 2 points below are read by the Letsbuy team.
I feel that internet shopping is still a very new phenomenon in India and people are not very sure of the integrity of the vendor. So in order to build relationship and trust, it wud go a long way if a customer placing an order for a very high amount of money gets an update on the status of his delivery at regular intervals. So things like how it is being delivered - courier by air or land. It will make him less nervous and jittery.
I think it might be a good option if you can keep an express delivery service through courier. You can have this as a paid option for the customer. So he can avail same if he wants.
All in all I am satisfied with the product and the service. And would buy again as well as recommend people to buy from Letsbuy. Would also like to Thank Pawan for all the support.
