Old Stock - Bad customer service

I purchased a 9-Cell battery for my laptop worth Rs. 6000 upon receiving the battery I realized that the battery was more than 2 years old. I promptly sent them an email explaining that LiOn batteries don’t have a shelf life of more than a year with articles online pointing to this fact.


They called me up the next day and said that they will replace the battery in a week. It has been a month now but I have not received a replacement. The customer service is not even responding to my emails any more.
