I placed an order for a toy airport model worth some 300-400 bucks. When I got the product from them it was scratched and broken. I called them and told them that since it was a birthday gift for someone, it would make great sense to receive it before his birthday. They promised to replace in 3-4 days. It took them more than 2 weeks after repeated reminders to collect the product from me.(I placed the original order on 18th November and received the replacement on 9th December). When I received the replacement, I sent them this mail after a huge sense of disappointment:
"I received the shipment today about a couple of hours back. I have opened the packaging but not the product. The product was packaged very well with bubble wrap and everything. But without even opening the actual product packing you can see the mess you have shipped. Last time I returned the product because one wheel of the plane was broken and the plane was scratched. It was only visible when I actually held the plane in my hand.
This time without opening I can see at least 3 wheels that are floating inside the package. Also, the fin on one of the aircrafts is missing. One plane has no wheels at all. The other has the front wheel missing.
As already communicated to you earlier, I do not need the product anymore, nor am I asking you for a refund. I am not even going to reship this product. I just want you to be aware of a really disappointed customer. And if you want proof, I have taken pics of the product."
So they asked me for proof. I decided not to send anything to them after that. I have the product with me as it is. It is not going anywhere. It serves as a reminder that they may be good, but when they screw up, they screw up real bad. So, if there is a high value product, I prefer other websites now.
