I love Levis because it was the In thing during my teenage years and it is still is today. At that time, I had many pairs of jeans and the brands included Texwood, Amco, Lee etc. but I had more pairs of Levis compared to the rest. The reason was actually because all my other older siblings(Im the youngest} prefered Levis and I was glad about it because theirs finally came down to me.
There was this craze about wearing jeans each time I came home from school.
There was one particular pair which I loved most. It was army green in colour and it was actually from an uncle. Later, my eldest brother wore it and following the line, I finally got it. It fitted me nicely. However, I could only wear it for two years after that. Now, it has gone to my nephew. The amazing thing about this pair is that it is still in good shape and there is not even a tear to be seen. The only difference I noticed is that it is now more faded than before and my nephew just loved it that way. His pair of jeans faded through time and he does not have to spend a single cent for it unlike his other friends.
You see, the trend today is that a new pair of jeans would be faded upon purchase and the more faded it is, the more expensive it becomes. Furthermore, Levis jeans are very popular in Asian countries till today.
What I am trying to say is that Levis jeans is very lasting especially if you had the ones bought many years ago. If I am not wrong, I think the ones that last long are the Original ones from United States and I am definitely sure that the one that my nephew is still wearing is Original and if he has a son or daughter later on, they may get to wear it. Levis can really last for decades. I am sure many will agree.
