The TV is very nice looking and comes with all the glasses you need to make use of it’s 3D and dual play functions (Dual play has given a whole new lease of life to split screen gaming on my X-Box!). It has built in wireless connectivity which was simple to connect to and has a USB recording facility which is very neat, if like me you don’t want lots of boxes and wires in your lounge (having said that you can only record the channel you are on).
As a negative we purchased this TV as we wanted to use the smart technology in it. The Smart technology has been simple to set up and use, unfortunately, apps such as e4 player are not available in LG’s own apps markets and whilst these facilities can be reached through the TV’s internet capability they are too clunky and slow thus making what should be an elegant feature quite redundant and I have had to turn to my X-Box to make these features work (so more wires and the clean lounge ideal has been lost).
All in all, though it is a very impressive piece of kit.
