A feature loaded LCD with great looks

I brought this TV when my last television broke down last week. I did a lot of research before finalising on this one. I have check all other brands like Sony, Samsung, Philips, Toshiba, Vu, and Videocon. Previously, I was of belief that LG might not be able to give a product as strong as of Sony or Samsung; but when I went through a comparison of the features no other product came close to this one. It launched very recently and was a clear winner (also considering the price it is given at - my budget was around 65K).

Not listing the general features that every other TV in its category have, These are the top features that attracted me to buy this piece:

1) Amazing Looks - LG Scarlet 2.0 looks wonderful, better than any other competing product. The design is pleasing, the speakers are invisible, decent black color with a hint of red, slim width, apealing indicator LED on the front. Its a complete designer thing.

2) USB Divx Video Support - I can now easily plug in my Pen Drive or Portable Hard Disk and play movies ( I would also like to tell that it even supports NTFS file system - i.e bigger sized drives and heavy video files )

3) 1.6" width - This was slimmest LCD I saw. All others were in range of 4 to 6" (Not counting the LED ones which were way out of my budget). It looks real sleek when hanged on the wall.

4) Bluetooth, great contrast ratio and response time : It supports bluetooth to attach a wireless headset to listed when your wife wants to sleep. It has a very good contrast ratio and low response time for fast action sequences.

6) PC Connectivity - I enjoyed working on a huge 42" monitor. The giant resolution of 1920 x 1280 pixels gives huge desktop space to spread several applications on a same plane. Its fun to watch movies on my laptop on this big second screen too.

7) Cool onscreen menu - I am a technical person and love playing with settings to get my desired effect. The menu system is graphically pleasing and easy to use.

8) Last but not the least - Price. Yes, even with these great features the television is priced very competitive. I bought my set for 62K from a small local retailer. buying from Vijay Sales or big mall shop would be much expensive, so do your research and get the best price.)
