No need for straining eyes any more

I used to work on 14’’ monitors for a long time at the office. Now, afer I had decided to assemble my own pc, I wanted no compromise on the monitor front.

There are three things that cannot be compromised when looking for a PC. The Processor, Motherboard and the monitor. The monitor, I believe, is the most important unit since this determines the strain of your eyes. I have been working in a customer service environment for over three years now and working night shifts does take a toll on the health and the eyes equally.

Getting frequent headaches or migranes is a common thing working at night shifts and the eyes contribute a lot for that. Here as well the most important factor is the monitor. Although a little expensive, the LGE700S FLATRON has been built for that purpose which keeps your eyes in good shape even after long hours of sitting in front of the PC.

I sit almost 10-12 hours a day just staring at the monitor on the internet either at work or at home. And the E700S has helped me immensely for giving me strainless hours of work and entertainment. The antiglare screen on the moitor reduces reflection from other light sources and even if a light from a source is directly in front of the monitor, it dissolves the light and sends it back as a soft illumination.

Thats a great feature of this FLATRON. The Control Panel : To be frank, I hardly use them, I dont need to fiddle with the resolution of the monitor or any othr setting. The only option I use on the panel is the brightness and the contrast, when I work in the day time and at nights. The panel is very easy to use and self explanatory. The picture tube is a 17’’ with a viewable area of 16’’ is big enough for watching movies and the best part about it is playing games. I played Halo on this monitor, which gave out realistic colors...simply amamzing!!! This is a great monitor and if you go for it, do not forget to get a UPS for power surges as that might get less life for the tube.
