LG G1600 is a product launched after the G1500 (silver hype) bombarded in the market. I bought G1500 only because of its 200 phone memory and other tools like world time which other brands of the same range like N-2100 were lacking, but got disappointed and regretted when most of my friends started complaining about the echo they were getting, while in a conversation with me.. G1600 is much improved from G1500 ’s feminine oval shape to masculine rectangular look , yet cute and equipped with a shocking 65K colors where all other brands of the same price range were offering only a max of 4096 colors, and nice to hear polyphonic tones, including that nostalgic old land phone ring.. Also have a voice recorder where you can record your dear one’s voice for 20 Sec(pity!) and play back and listen when ever you miss them...But the weird thing here is there is no option here to set these recorded sounds, as a ring tone.. It even has a scheduler where you can put a max of 20 reminders or memos..where N-2600 comes with an monthly planner and expense tracker.. It has MMS and GPRS and it is really feature rich in that way well ahead of other brands. It was the only phone I found in that price range (4000Rs) with MMS and 65 K colors. where other phones like -N-2600 and SE-j200E- where coming with only 4096 colors and no MMS. As a regular Nokia user, I found the simplicity in the navigation as the most attractive thing in this phone. And 200 Phone memory is also mentionable.World time can be useful and calculator is also beautiful. If you are looking for a beautiful phone with simple navigation and MMS and polyphonic, GPRS and 65 K color display for a mere 4000Rs this the best one for you. You get a free hands free , and a beautiful string to hang your phone. Just go for it..
