This is the first ever LG product Ive purchased - the earlier fridge that I had was all from godrej, we were very happy with them but we went for good looks of LG and also the promise of a multinational.
within a month, the trays started to crumble - we called up and the engineer came after muliple calls to the call center - and said that I cannot do anything this is outside the warranty(only on compressor) - less than a month - I complained and complained and nothing moved. Later I went to the dealer and since I was going to buy another white good from him - he did something to get the tray replaced.(Thanks to the delaer - LG guys useless)
Now, the handle is broken and LG customer service doesnt care - its 15 days(and my fridge is still in warranty) and these guys say I will have to pay for it - plastic parts are not under warranty. The handle is tied to the door NOT with a plastic part but with a metal screw and that is broken - handle needs to be replaced - I will have to pay for the handle and screws and labor . this is daylight robbery and again the technician who comes to fix it is so cold - "I can only do this whatever is told to me . speak with the call center .".
I will give LG 2/10 on customer service. for 100 rs handle they are loosing customers.
