I bought this LG refrigerator from Kannankandy in Kozhikode on 10-5-2008. The model was LG RF GL 195 SA 4.
there was a four star rating and it was stuck on the front door that it consumes just 299 units per year etc etc.
Actually the price of the refrigerator was Rs.10800/- much more than many others in the same category.
Being a reputed branch I thought I could trust this product.
But I was shocked recently that it has developed rust as shown in the photos attached.
I had Allwyn refrigerator in my house in the 1970s when I was a kid and even that had not rusted so quickly as the LG refrigerator does. Technology is going backwards not forwards
Why should LG venture into such products like refrigerators if they are not quite sure about is quality?
I have registered a complaint to alert LG and I am waiting for them. I dont know whether their products last only up to warranty period.

An LG person did visit but did not do anything. He gave advise to contact LG service centre and request manager etc etc..which I did not do.
Meanwhile the holder of bottles in the door has also failed. LG refrigerator is nothing but rubbish. I would not advise anyone to purchase LG refrigerator.
LG is not LIFE IS GOOD; it is LIFE IS SUBSTANDARD...
