I would like to share my experience with two LG refrigerators, so that it might be helpful to anyone out there. I really do not remember the model names, I just randomly picked this link and putting down my comments.
We brought a LG 200 litre fridge with semi defrost technology about 3 years ago. Soon after few months, one morning I was opening the door to grab something out of it and I had handle in my hand detached from the fridge. And after about an year or year and half, it was not able to cool and semi defrost stopped working. It was still under 3 year warrenty, I called up the service guy and he said that we need to pay about Rs.1800 to fill up the gas and it seems warrenty does not cover this.
My mother-in-law brought LG double door about the same time as we did, it worked excellent for 1/1/2 to 2 years and after that string of problems with cooling and just in 1 year it has been repaired 3 times and they are so fed up with this piece of crap that they are thinking to dump it down and get some good one.
Please suggest some good brand.
