Well, after a lot of readings about various phones, i finally settled for the KG300, and in one line-I AM NOT AT ALL DISAPPOINTED! This set IS pure dynamite.Allow me to write about the phone and it’s features-
(1)First, on switching on the fone is the brilliant display-very EYE SOOTHING! Yes, I have seen many good phones with garish, too bright displays but KG300 scores here with a very pleasant to the eye display.
(2)Ring tones are moderate, very truely speaking-but loud enough to be heard.Mp3 player is good too and you have settings such as Party, Rock, Jazz, Bass etc which you can set acc. to your choice.
(3)Lots of emoticons in the sms section, you can send messages with a sound clip also to other compatible handsets.FM radio is good and you have the facility to record your radio programmes too.
(4)Camera-2megapxl is great too.Lots of effects can be added to the photos like-greyscale, green sepia, blue sepia, emboss, copper carving etc- the list is endless. There are 3 shutter sounds to choose from, shutter sound can be switched off too.
You guys must be wondering whether ALL things are good or are there any minus points too.Well, I won’t say minus points but would just like to mention-(1)Games could have been better-too childish.(2)No standby mode, screen goes blank after use.Altho’ it stays on, you have to keep switching on the phone to check missed data.(3)Battery life is 1day at the most with average usage-unlike Nokia or SE.
All in all the phone is worth the buy-very sleek looking-very easy to use-camera can take3-5-upto 9 shots at one go(burst mode).I liked the phone very much. Bought it in HYD with bill and warranty at Rs.10, 350/
I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.
P.S-It has bluetooth but no infrared.
