Lg q6 is light weight and good looking smartphone in its price. The full view display with 18: 9 screen to body ratio is quite eye catching. But the lg custom ui and hardware are not good. Lacks of finger print sensor as well. Device is too laggy. Hangs a lot during playing games and multi tasking. Gets quite bit of hot while charging and playing games and browsing internet within half an hour.
It has 5.5 full hd+ display with 18: 9 screen to body ratio nearly about 400 ppi. Which seems good. Lg said that the borders are made with some aluminium series but back side is plastic and it feels crappy. Easily gets scratched.
It has qualcomm snapdragon 435 chipset octa core processor clock speed upto 1.4 ghz along with adreno 505 gpu. In 14000 price tag lg should include 450 or 625 chipset. It does day to day normal usage fine. But doesnt feel speedy as lg ui is laggy.
Back camera is 13 megapixel and front camera is 5 megapixel, both can take good photos and record videos.
Battery is 3000 mah which is not useful for 5.5 full hd+ full view display resolution. It drains quickly and in normal usage it lasts upto 6-7 hours max. Which is not good at all. Battery heats up very quickly while charging and playing games in very short time.
The lg customised rom or user interface is so much laggy and sluggish. Icons are also not that great. Seems cartoonish. Lg should focus on it. Though it runs on android nougat still ui is not fluid.
It doesnt have finger print sensor, the face unlock doesnt perform in indoor light or at night. Most of the time it fails to unlock with face id.
The design is okay but build quality is not good. It feels so cheap and wobbly sometimes.
It doesnt have usb type c port. It is one of the fault. Doesnt fast charging as well. Battery charging is not fast. Takes over than 3 hours to full charge.
Earphone quality is also bad. Doesnt give that output or bass or clarity via default earphone.
Call quality is okay. Still not upto the mark.
Sound reception is good. Speaker outwent quality is loud. But placement is bad. Every time it gets blocked by finger or hand while using automatically.
Basically not that great in this price point. Bit costly for this price.
Not value for money. Give extra money and buy other brand smartphone.
