Shortcomings of this phone are:
separate filter needs to written for names starting with capital letters and those will small letters. For example for accessing names with A you need to write a filter that starts with A. However for accessing names with a (small letters) you need to write a filter that starts with a.
sometimes gives mismatched names to phone numbers or mismatched numbers to name. eg., you could have stored Ashish as 011-31111111 and Anurag as 080-31111122. However when dialing from recent dialed list you may find when you selected to dial Anurag it is actually dialling Ashish’s number (ie 011-31111111) and when you manually dialed Anurag’s number (that is keyed in 080-31111122 it showing Ashish’s name for that number)
Cannot dial from Phone details feature. For example you search for Ashish and you are given two names:
Ashish Gupta
Ashish Rana.
Now if you press call button on any of these names it will dial. However if you look into details of these entries and try to dial it won’t. Later versions of the phone have overcome this feature by showing a pop-up whenever you look for details of a specific address that is removed from screen the moment you press the call button.
The battery discharges quite fast and the phone needs to charged every 36 hours.
complicated messaging options. For a novice it will be hard to message to a stored address.
complicated alarm setting. For a novice it will take an effort to set an alarm on this phone.
