Cheap and descend

I brought this phone some months back. I have almost used all its features and I have to say that it is a pretty good phone for its price. Lately have heard that it is available for 5000 Rs!!! What more you could ask for.

The sound quality is excellent! It?s crisp and sharp. If you have used this phone and have been facing some problems with the sound then its reliance to be blamed some times their service is very poor. I don?t have any problem with the signal reception while traveling in trains or in tunnels or indoor in a building. The phone works when others complain about their expensive handsets not working! The screen clarity and colors display is too good for its class. Its comparable with really expensive cell phones. The keypad is a little stiff. The screen is a TFT one so its difficult to read in the sunlight. Its can display 65000k colors.

The battery is a concern. Its stands for 2 days without doing anything and anything between 6 hrs to one day when using. The battery gets really hot.

The body is very elegant, sleek and stylish. But I would have liked if the phones body would have been completely in black and not the dual color ’’black and silver’’.

The phone comes with 34 built in ring tones + 3 downloadable from r world or indiatimes + 5 downloadable from MMS. The concern is the limitation on the number of pictures you could store! 25 in the gallery, 5 in the my media, 5 in inbox. The camera works good at outdoors and at medium light but at low light its not that good. also you cannot zoom when at 640*480 max resolution but only at lower resolution. meaning if you use zoom the resultant image will be small. If the light is too bright it tries to adjust to that and results in some change in the color! The phone comes with a flash which could be used as torch (very bright). The snap is to be taken using an extra key that is at the side of the phone. Sometimes its very easy some times its a pain in the neck.

The battery gets fully charged within an hour or 15-20 min more. The cell has a t9 predictive text (very useful). One bad thing is that reliance have put a limit to the SMS input output, i.e. only 140 char are allowed and incoming SMS should be less then 161 chars or else they cut and serve it to you...

R world ring tones are SHIT. The indiatimes ring tones are descend. The cell can play midi or wave ring tones. They are not stereophonic. but polyphonic. The video downloaded from the r world are descend but not smooth. The cell has not video recorder or mp3 support. SO anyone wanting those things please don?t buy this phone shell out some money and buy some other phone may I suggest sonny Erickson (my personal favorite).

The cell has a build in flash memory and cannot be upgraded! No blue tooth no infrared.

Evaluating everything and considering the low price I don?t care what others thing! What I thing is if you don?t want to spend too much and want a descend phone go for it.
