I bought this TV a few days back as a replacement for an old BPL FMR. While the design and the slim tube look impressive as does the clarity of the picture and the excellent sound, what is strange is the color of the picture. Most of the skin tones on most channels look jaundiced - yellow!.
I looked to adjust the picture tint and make it a bit more reddish, but there is no control to do so. I am not sure if this is a characteristic of the televison / brand or the Indian made tude inside, but I am not quite happy with the way the color scheme is. Perhaps LG would provide an answer to this issue. Also, each channel is jarring different in color scheme - something that was not so apparent in my old tv.
On the whole, not a bad tv for the price (Rs. 10000/-) and that fact that it needs little space to keep (ideal for the bedroom), but think twice if you want good skin color and tone - this tv won’t deliver this. For feature set check the website.
