I had bought this model of LG Washing Machine in Oct2001 from Vijay Sales, Mumbai.It has given me more than 6 years of trouble free service. Not a single defect so far.The quality of wash is average and the water consumption per wash is average.The equipment is quite userfriendly and the childlock proved to be a great advantage for my family. Even after more than 6 years of continuous operation, I am yet to see any sign of corrosion or wear on any part of the equipment that is visible from outside.
The only major disadvantage of this machine is that sometimes the clothes get entangled with each other and cause unbalance of the equipment and then the machine stops till the load is evened out.Can not comment on the quality of after sales service because after the demo, I did not get the opportunity to call the LG Service people.
