What a wonderful book to read. I was thrilled. I immersed myself. It’s quick to read and the pages turn fast. You are caught unawares with great plot and story-telling at its very best. An Ausralian writer, Michael Robothham knows how the game is played, and draws you in. It’s remarkable. It’s the kind of book you don’t ant to finish. Wile reading te book, you get to appreciate the writer, and get to understand the characters in te story.
Why would a man escape from prison the day before he was too be released? Audie Palmer spent about ten years in prison. He could have jus waited for one more day . but things move fast. He was involved in an armed robbery, a crime in which four people died and two from his own gang. Things did not work out and go as planned for Audie Palmer. But still, yet he wants to make things rigt and he wants a better life; he refuses to give up and surrender.
There’s so much to this story, very involved and the writing is strong, it keeps you going, getting into the story and turning the pages.
