Horoscope or Horrorscope ?!

Well, I am not astrologer to decide on that, however, I am going to take a safe neutral stand on that!

Talking about horoscopes and compatibility, I used to find every girl in my good ol’ college days as an ardent follower of astrology books if not an aspiring astrologer and their role model was Linda Goodman! What was ironical was they used to trust the Linda Goodman book more than the natural attractions for a suitable guy! And as a result, I had friends all over me, puzzled, crying their hearts out, even before they could get a reasonable explanation from their potential girlfriends on why they were dumped!

It’s a great feeling finding the girl you are attracted to, reading your horoscope in the newspaper and you reading her’s! Really goes on to show how much you care for each other.

Call it trend or whatever, it’s now fashionable to introduce yourself by saying, “I am a Capricorn and you?” Something similar to the movie called “ “Slap her, she is French!”

And it’s a great way of connecting to your potential friend by asking, “What’s your sunsign?” This one surely works!

Talking about being fashionable, falling in a cusp nowadays is also considered to be belonging to the exclusive club!

I personally always found myself bumping onto Leos the most. I being a Virgo, am not that very compatible with Leos, according to the astrology books, but call it coincidence or whatever, majority of my ol’ friends are Leos!

I still cannot forget the joy I had, like many of other fellow Indians, just before the India - Australia World Cup final. I remember an astrologer got is all-wrong when he proudly predicted on television that India would win !

Even though, I wouldn’t call myself a great believer in astrology, I feel there’s definitely something to do with our body system and the planets and stars. And I think it is a fascinating field that needs to be explored further, with the SKY being the limit!
