I have been watching this one mainly b’cuz here in Hong Kong we don’t get Star Plus or Sony....so it is more out of a lack of choice than anything else.The story started off in great way but lost it completely and now it looks like a big’’nautanki’’. The original story about two warring publishing houses has been lost in episodes that just don’t make any sense at all!! So far as acting by lead cast goes...I think that school kids are better than them.Sheetal just raises one eyebrow and twitches her lips and shows she has 32 teeth in every scene in the name of acting!!Suniti..well..she just makes sure that the camera is getting her best angle in every scene and in every scene she’s either showing her’’Madhuri Dixit’’smile or shedding tears...she could really do much better!!The guy who plays Tarun Singhania(he was Nangu-Dingu in Dekh Bhai Dekh)can’t act to save his life and if that was not enough...he looks like a dodo!!Aly Khan just sleepwalks in his role...why is he so fickle-minded??!!Suman didi is always so dressed up...I really wonder how many middle-class housewives dress up like that??!!Meera(ahem!!)she has absolutely nothing to do in this serial.The best actor in the whole serial is Krishna(the servant)he really plays his part sincerely!!Jatin was the only lovable character but now he too is shown to be a little’’satkoo’’.They have shown everything from black magic, to the’’teli’’giving’’baddua’’to Mini, to’’Mata ki chauki’’.Are they not promoting superstition?? Just after Mini’s death, Jasmine disappeared from the scene and it did not bother the Singhania’s even one bit...they didn’t even try to find her... quite strange!!
All I can do now is...wait for this trash to end!!
