My husband loves pizza, and we’re trying to save money right now. We needed to go to Ace Hardware, and there was a Little Ceasars next door, and he persuaded me to stop and pick up a Hot and Ready Pizza. They advertise that they have either cheese or pepperoni medium pizzas that are hot and ready to go at all times for $5.
We came in just before noon, so if ever there was a time of day they should have several ready to go, this was it. We ordered a Hot and Ready Cheese, and we were told it would be about five minutes. I didn’t understand how this was Hot and Ready, but my husband wanted to wait. Five minutes went by, then ten. Other people came and picked up pizzas while we waited.
Finally, I stepped outside so I wouldn’t hit anyone. After 15 minutes went by, my husband asked for his money back. Some woman in the kitchen called out that she had the cheese pizza, but nothing was actually handed to anyone in the front of the store. Finally, we got our money back. I found out later that generally Little Ceasars restaurants do not keep hot and ready cheese pizzas available, only pepperoni, despite what they advertise. They should be honest.
