Should i move back to India

At present I am on PR basis in Toronto since last 4 months. Before moving had been to California for CPA exams for 4 months. I have found a promising job in office though average paid, but nice boss, accomodating, in my filed of tax and accounting, promise for increment in salary, incharge of income tax work. I am confident that after getting the experience and with support expected from one distant relative, I would be able to set my own office after 2-3 years. I can pass CGA in 1 year do to exemptions given to CPA and Indian CA. I am confident to buy a house after filing my first IT return after 6 months in JAn. 10.

However I miss my seniority office status in India where I had my own practise with my elder cousin who has assured me that I would be inherting the practise as his son is not qualified, so no tension of future. My faimly income was tax free Rs. 50K. No installment for home, car so max. saving as I live in small industrial town near Ludhiana. I had my 50% share in office building. I inherit 4 acres agriculture land woth Rs. 4 Crore.

I am alone son, now I relise that my old age parents 79 and 75 who are very simple needs me for there day to day chores though not financially since they get agriculture rent. Father has poor vision. Our home is little far from from residential area so no neighbours.

My wife had worked as teacher for last 10 years has to only take care of kids aged 8 and 6 accompanying them to school and than taking them back, since no school buses in Toronto as in India. She feels bored. As social circle is poor. People work in different shifts so everybody has diffrent casual. Life looks like machine as both husband and wife works in day and night shifts just to earn and pay mortgages, insurance, taxes etc.

We cook at home but all vegetable are not availeble inspite of lots of Indian stores. So many Indian restaurants but the food is not as tasty.

The weather is very harsh as I am not accoustmed to cold winters for 7 months. People advise that summers are also horrible. Than its the same summer as in India.

THe lush green lawns where one can stroll 3 months only due to cold weather are empty as people remain in house or at work.

Here the daily casual works with time not sun since sun rises at 6 and sets at 9 P.M and one does’nt feel like having food at night since the dark spreads at 10 p.m. and sleeping time is 11 p.m. Whereas in India we were accoustmed to wake up at 5 and sleep by 9.30 since sun rises at 5.30 and sets at 7 in summers.

The fear of kids being spoiled by poor culture and poor eating habits of eating Piza, Burger, Pasta, Taco, Lazania, packed etc. junk foods is another concern. As far as I understands kids can be sucessful in India also and can be unsuccessful in Canada also, so if they are educated in Canada it is no gaurantee that they will be successful. Who knows the future but shall I stuggle in present for unknown future.

I agree here its pollution free no dust, in India corruption pollution etc. but we have excelled there in our life good earning, easy working sheedule, support of relatives, nearby shopping areas, support of servants, hawkers etc.

So I am pretty confused to move back or not due to gauranteed future in India my own parctise, Old parents, cold weather VS struugling life, recession hit economy, cold weather, concerns for kids in Canada. Please guide me.
