This is being written keeping in mind the mental health of home owners who are looking to remodel/design/redesign/do-up-from-scratch/decorate/redecorate their homes.
Kindly stay away from #livspace. Run a mile if you have to; or better still, find your latent talents for interior designing instead. Unless you want gray hair, and lots of it. And sleepless nights to binge-watch Netflix.
The kindest thing that #livspace ever did for us was refund our money. This is pretty much the only deadline they ever kept and delivered in the 4 months we knew them.
For 4 months, we struggled after being assigned an absolutely inexperienced designer and project manager who only threw at us fancy pictures from Pinterest, ‘3D renders’ and warm assurances that our house will look like that Good Earth boutique we sighed over.
We chased and chased them like desperate fools for some input; some tiny glimmer of hope that they were indeed working on our project. To put it simply; after all the chasing and follow up you’ll end up doing, you’ll really start to question who the client is and who the vendor is.
They are so busy that they can’t take calls or return them, or reply to our emails. Also, they’ve spent millions on radio jingles and newspaper ads, they’re flooded with starry-eyed customers like us who rush into their experience center to touch and feel their could-be homes. How could they have time for small time customers like us?
So save yourselves a great deal of stress and support your local mason and carpenter instead. Pinterest and Houzz away. The results are far more rewarding and healthy for your family.
Shame on you #livspace for running a con on hapless customers.
