Don't get taken in by the marketing/branding

We had a horrible experience with Livspace as I chose them over others swayed by the glitzy marketing campaigns and a 20% Diwali offer. Post paying the 10% advance based on an elaborate quote that took 3-4 days of back and forth, I was in for a rude shock as despite multiple reminders there was no urgency on starting and completing the designing. The excuses were "short of manpower", "design software malfunction", "relative died" and many more. On calling their customer care center to escalate, they connect you on phone to people who are supposedly senior but these folks are not even willing to reveal their full names going by Mr.Singh etc. In all likelihood these seniors were nothing but imposters posing as managers. They initially promised delivery date of Dec 15th, but I was only able to get the designing done by that date (in 2 months). The biggest shocker was the revised quote post designing which was 2.5 times the quote on which I had closed the deal. Consequently after wasting 2 months I had to cancel the deal. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from these fraudsters, if you want to continue to enjoy the process of doing interiors and moving in your new house.
