Livspace is a home interior design and renovation platform and one of India’s largest interior designing company. The startup was started up by a few IITians and now a half a billion-dollar company that currently is operating in major cities including Mumbai Pune Thane etc. The home design automation platform for interior designers has now online and offline stores around all major cities.
As mainly people choose Livspace kitchen to be designed and more modernized. our family was already planning to redesign our kitchen so we thought that we should also give it a try by upgrading our normal kitchen to a modular one with Livspace. So I went to their website and got to see different offers and designs on the website. On the website, there was a text box where they said’Talk to Designer’ where I had to register my name, email ID, phone number, and property name. So I registered and soon I received a call from Livspace where we talked about our project and they asked if I could walk-in to their Livspace offline store and there we designed our kitchen as to how we wanted with their virtual technology and where all the formalities were like some paper works, plans, etc. We didn’t have any high expectations we just wanted our kitchen to be modern and clutter-free. Our project started at the starting of October and estimated that project will get completed by end of October.
After a few days, the Livspace team arrived at our home. They didn’t ask us anything and started their work immediately as scheduled. At first, they checked the basic features of our kitchen like the size of the kitchen, plumbing, and electric connection, availability of storage space. They decided to change the designs and structure of the base, tall and wall cabinet, and also design the countertops and lightings. While the redesigning process I experienced that they had a proper schedule and hassle-free services.
Finally, after a few weeks, the work was done. They completely changed our kitchen also added new lightings, wall cabinets, trolleys to tall and base cabinets. Also added enough space for our appliances and extended our counter-tops. Cabinets were well arranged and the placement of lightings was changed. They had done an excellent job by making a clutter-free kitchen with storage adjustments, placement of lightings, and other arrangements. As the kitchen is the most important part of the house, they designed it beautifully and completely achieved our expectations.
My total experience was they have a hassle-free system to help you design your home as per your expectations. But one thing I thought they had lacked behind is cost-efficiency. I think they charged us too much. I knew they fulfilled our expectations but I would like to tell you that this process isn’t very cost-efficient and only the riches could afford such a huge price and every common man could not afford such things. From starting we had expected a cost-efficient process but when we had gone to their offline store the cost to design our room was too high but we took risks and didn’t care of it that time but looking backward we think that Livspace should take care of our pockets too. So I think the people who have a large budget for interior designing should only go for Livspace. Hope this review helps you, as it is my personal opinion it may differ from yours.
