I think when Livspace first launched in Chennai, we saw an advertisement in Times of India newspaper and we were kind of the first ones there to get interiors done. After 15 years in Chennai, we decided to buy the flat and wanted it to be done nicely. We thought we would go ahead with local vendors but we later wanted it to be branded and done in a professional way. So, we checked out Livspace, compared and went ahead with them.
Even though I bought the flat in 2018, I started work with Livspace in 2019. But, it somehow got delayed and in between I moved to Delhi also. So, in between, the design was in draft mode. It was done online only. Even if I was not here, they designed and included so much. Only one time I came to Chennai for registration, met the designer and confirmed the design. Otherwise, it was all done online only. Even when the products were being installed, I did not see it in person and came to see later. So, in the last 2 years, I never had to go or fix any issues as such and it was all virtual.
I had bigger plans for design and everything. Since I moved to Delhi, I had to minimize so many things. We just completed the wardrobe and the modular kitchen. We had plans for a false ceiling and separation in the dining and living room as well but had to minimize. The team was very helpful and understanding. In the kitchen, we needed a provision to keep the washing machine. As the balcony was small, I asked them if the washing machine can be kept somewhere else to leave the right amount of space for the kitchen and balcony. They provided a provision in the kitchen in a way that it fits and it came very well. So, now we have access to the washing machine in the kitchen only and have the entire balcony to use.
After all this, I referred my cousin to Livspace as well since there was concession for the referral.
