I bought Adreno Fx in August 2002 & drove it till October 2006 for 25000 Kms. I found it to be a very useful & pleasureful bike. Pickup wise I used to beat so called monsters on road (Pulsar 150) very easily, but less engine power used to bring me down later on. I have traveled a lot on Adrino (even out of Delhi couple of times) & never felt unsafe.
Its the most stable bike I have ever found, whether its braking, or riding pleasure, its all amazing, Ppl used to complain about straight fairing, which I liked the most. Reflector was so powerful that U never feel like that light shud turn with handle bar. I got it modified a bit like 4" high shocker, short handles, open throttle exhaust pipe & still it has given me a mileage of around 55KMPL. I got almost 72 KMPL on Highway (Yes I drove it for 367 Kms one single day with only 5 liters petrol consumed & average speed 75KMPH+).
Whenever I used to carry my beauty with me, ppl used to think its a sports bike. I only got brake shoes changed twice as in Delhi, brakes are used the most. The best advantages were Side stand gear Lock, 5th gear indicator, Fuel guage up even if bike is not on, broad tyres for gr8 grip, 3 valve technology, crystal clear sharp light, amazing stability( I have turned my bike number of times at a speed of 55-60KMPH). Inspite my parents were strictly against me buying a 2 wheeler, they fell in love with this bike. I still have the pics of my beauty with me. The only reason sold this bike is coz of LML closing down the production & spare parts were not so easily available.Now I have Pulsar 180 DTSi & I m totally dis-satisfied with the performance.
Lot of engine sound, shaking handle bar on high speeds, very heavy, difficult to park & turn & on top poor chainset quality(I got it changed at 16000 KMS). Never in Adreno. Still my Adreno passes by in front of me as I sold it in my neighbour & the person who bought it is very happy. Please do correct me in case of any dis-agreement.
