LML Adreno - all in all a good machine

Dear Readers,

To talk about LML Adreno 100cc is something like the start of Disk brakes and Electric start. First bike of it’s kind launched in year 2000 that paved the way for the similar bikes in India.

I bought this Black colour model in July 2001 from Delhi and drove it to it’s potential till December 2005. The colour choice was limited at the time of buying But as I was inflenced by the looks and good shock absorbers I had gone for it.

Parts availability in North India is just Ok and so is the case with service centers. I moved to Mumbai in 2005 and here I find a whole lot of problems in availability of parts and there is only one service centre located in Panvel(outskirts of Mumbai).

About performance of bike: As we cannot compare to the advance bikes available today but among it’s class it is a good bike to own. It is uncommon, got good looks, road grip and stability is excellent. Average is little low in comparison to 100cc class but it is ok as the dry weight of bike is 120kg’s. It is so uncommon that one get admiration on the road by people asking when you have purchased the bike. It is good for long rides and not very suitable for crowded streets because of it’s length, It is difficult to maneuver this bike. The most negative point is the pick up(just average) but then it’s ok because it acts as a safety measure on crowded city roads.

This model is not in production since last many years but it is a pleasure to own this rare bike. However if asked about recommendation I believe that purchase decisions should be based on parts and service availability. Other aspects like petrol average, looks, features etc are personal priorities.
