In these recent times this is the second performance oriented bike I was testing(first being BYK from Bajaj, read review, interesting read). LML had been an obvious choice among scooters for a long, but like Bajaj they also have shifted to more profitable bike segment. Though they had Adreno and Energy, doing fine in the North-Indian markets, they still went for an Performance oriented bike.
The bike I tested belonged to a neighbor of mine. Had went through 3-Services, and was supposed to be performing well. The bike is 9-10 months old.
Looks :
These new age bikes coming out of every companys stable are well designed. Now a days designing has such an effect, that I read an punch line recently, Born in Studio not in Factory. Freedom excels among the designers bike for performance. It is way better styled than Passion and even Victior. It has a Sleek Lengthy Look to it, thats quite Modern & Stylish.
Test Drive :
As usual I listened to the sound of the Engine, definitely a good criteria. The sound seems okay. For a bike of 110cc. the bike has very descent Pick-up. It nearly 60kmph in 8-9 sec., easily. Since the owner was looking at my Test-Drive I tried to easy with the bike. Then I took more than 2 km on the straight lane, outside my colony and away from preying eyes. I made 70kmph, but after 65kmph, the bike started feeling heavy and started dragging. That seems to be its limit, but I still forwarded to 75kmph, now the engine was heating beyond the regular. The bike looks very good till the 3rd gear, but its the top gear that actually disappoints you. The balance was good, not excellent. The brakes, Drum, were satisfying, since bikes power doesnt require Disks.
But the best was bikes cornering, excellent. For the bikes length, its very easy to Maneuver Freedom. While stopping the bike, the suspension came to good effect, should applaud for Freedoms suspension.

Priced Well Rs. 42, 000(approx.) Delhi, On Roads.
Suspensions, Excellent.
Tops Torque & Horsepower Charts, among 110cc.
Only 8 bhp.
Verdict :
Excellent Bike in performance sector if your mean 50-55 Kmpl, by performance. Looks are the best among this segment bikes, especially looks good for tall guys. Maintenance needed, but a lot of service center available. Good Bike.
Rating :
If had to choose between, Passion, Caliber and Freedom. Will go for Passion, because of the Tried and Tested Rule.
