Even though the local trains are known to be the lifelines of Mumbai city I wud not prefer travelling by that mode.
Most of the times they are out of schedule.
Sometimes luckily u get the train b4 ur scheduled time but that train halts in front of some dreaded red signal and thus the time of getting the early train is wasted.
Then there r as many attitudes of people as many they r.
Some prefer to catch the Kalyan bound train at Dombivili for a ’’window’’ seat and then travel to VT.Some have the ’’skilful’’ habit of catching the train b4 it halts on the platform.
One of the most imp. tips I wud like to give is that
HAVE THE HABIT OF TRAVELLING IN GROUPS
else there r no chances that u wud get a seat while travelling and if u r alone then u have no right to occupy the area patrolled by the Group members.
