I am new to Mumbai, I came here a month ago before coming here all told that mumba local train is the best means of transportation here, when reached mumbai in morning 6 I took ticket to malad & traveled without any problem, there was no crowd or rush I thought as there are many trains I will not find rush in train & went to my room.I was happy that I can travel in Mumbai easily.
After sometime I came from room to malad station took ticket at 8.30 & went to platform 2 saw train coming to platform I was shocked to see the fully packed train. After that I started thinking how should I go to bandra in a condition like this & I had n number of questions in my mind how people travel in this & I waited for another train to board although there are very frequently running trains towards bandra I dint had any idea how to get in to train & finally asked a passenger how do people board this fully packed train & how do people get out from that train, he explained in brief everything about boarding how to get out from the train.
Around 9.30 I waited for a train stood near to train & as soon as passengers get out of the train I entered into train after that automatically people behind me started pushing me towards inside after that realized how to board a train in Mumbai local, now it was time to reach bandra, if stand near door I wll be thrown out in next station, watched carefully how people get in & out of train so I stood in side, if you are standing in middle am damn sure you will be moved along with crowd towards a station which is not yours.
After travelling for about 15 days I have learned how to get in & out of a Mumbai local train. Its very helpful, time saving & efficient means of transportation for all.
