London, the capital of England, is one of the finest cities I have ever visited. There’s so much to do there, you won’t know where to start!
Museums

If you’re into museums and galleries, London is full of them! There’s museums about everything you can think of! One of the best museums I have visited is the Imperial War Museum. It covers all the wars of the 20th century, with interactive parts where you can try your hand at morse code. There’s thousands of photo’s and pictures to see, and machinery and tanks dated back to the 1st world war. Not forgetting Madame Tussauds’, the famous waxworks museums which hosts hundreds of famous people from around the world.
Trafalgar Square

If you like pigeons, then visit Trafalgar Square. Here, you can feed the pigeons with bird seed. They are so friendly, and will come and sit on your arm while you feed them. Situated in the middle of Trafalgar Square are to huge, stone lions. Trafalgar Square is also famous for people flocking here on New Year’s Eve. I have done this once, and found it an awesome experience!
Leicester Square

Here, at Leicester Square, there is plenty to do. There are cinema’s located here, bars, clubs, and cafes to sit and relax and watch the world go by! You will find people in the streets playing music and dancing, and generally having fun! This is a lively place 24 hours a day, and you will certainly not get bored here!
Shopping

You can shop until you drop here! There’s the famous streets like Regent Street, Oxford Street and Carnaby Street where you will find the streets lines with shops selling everything you need! There is also the famous ’Hamley’s’ toy store on Regent Street, and ’Harrods’, situated in Knightsbridge.

Whether you want to visit London for the day, the weekend, or for a week, you’ll always find something to do, day and night! It’s a fun city, with fun things to do! And I’ve always found the London people very friendly and willing to help in any way they can.
