I was in town and a friend was staying at the Intercontinental and invited me over for dinner. I went to the hotel and met my friend after a very long time. She took me to Long and Short and the moment I stepped in, I was mesmerized!
The place was done up with awesome, warm colours and had a very beautiful feel to it. As it was night, the whole place was bathed in a soft yellow light. Wait, did I tell you this was on the rooftop of the hotel and that it provided the most amazing view of the sea and the vicinity?!
After I drank in all the view and the decor we placed our order. We had Rajma Gilawat which came with warm and fresh Pita Bread and a Fish and Chips Bowl, which came with homemade Tartar sauce. The starters were yummy to say the least and we finished off even the small crumbs that we could see.
For the Mains we had Paneer Masala Biryani, a Barbecue Chicken Pizza and Smoked Salmon Spaghetti. The mains were as delicious as the starters. No complains at all. The music that was playing also was relaxing and aided conversation without anyone having to yell to be heard over the music.
I had an awesome time here. We paid the bill, I wished my friend goodnight and I made my wway home.
