As always here again with strong feelings.... But this time with some more good & a few bad one’s.
Which ever service provider you opt for you are bound to have your share aggression & worries when you get your monthly bills. Same is the case with me. But I have a solution for all you readers out there.
But before that let me complement BPL Mobile for two of their services which I have been using & am happy with it. Mind you its too difficult to please me & when I say the service is GOOD it is indeed good. You ought to try them & have your say. The two services are :
Hotline Number.
BPL GPRS.
Hotline Number : I got a corporate card with hotline number facility. The hotline number is a another BPL number on which you can make a call free of cost any time of the day. When I say free its totally free, not even 30 paisa per min nor 10 paisa. Its totally free with no hidden cost. Not only that even that other nuber can make free calls to your number totally free any time of the day.
No need to worry of network congestions or call drops. Even if your call drops one thousand times you are not charged even a paisa.
To top it all I got my SIM card totally free as well as the HOTLINE number SIM Card.
I would even like to mention that on 26/27 July ’05 when the whole of Mumbai was under water & other networks had concked off my BPL connection was on. I had full network infact I was able to stay in touch with my HOTLINE partner from my office the whole night.
You get all this for just Rs 200 a month per card. Isn’t that amazing. Its a steal as no operator is providing a totally free HOTLINE number. Even Orange charges 30 paisa per minute for calls to talkathon number which always drops & you waste 30 paisa which accumalates to a good amount by the end of the month.
I have been using this card with this facility since Nov’04 & am very happy with the service.
The only pinch is the call charges to other numbers which is way above standard charges. Well this doesn’t affect me as I just want to stay connected to my HOTLINE partner 24hrs. You must have understood by now whom I have been reffering to all this time. Yes my girl friend. Good for love smitten Romeos like me.
BPL GPRS : You can have GPRS activated for Rs 99 for handset & Rs 499 for your PC. I have activated GPRS for my PC & have been downloading movies, softwares, songs, videos every thing free of cost at a reasonable speed.
There is no download limit or data transfer limit nor do you have to pay more for excessive downloads as compared to what Orange offers.
I am very very very satisfied by this service as well.
Have been using GPRS since the last four months & am content with it.
Problem The only problem is that I am charged around 10 to 15 rupees more on each card on both my bills every month as SMS charges. Have complained a number of times but have never got a waver nor has any one looked into the matter.
For all those who are facing such billing issue with your respective service providers, who ever they may be or what ever service they may be providing you need not worry as there is a way to challenge & fight them.
Be it ORANGE, Airtel, BPL, MTNL or your gas company or your cable operator of any other service provider who has been harrassing you, consider your prayers to have been answered.
