Hospital is a place that is expected to serve and cure with love and empathy. But you won’t find any traces of these in Lourdes Hospital, Pachalam, Kochi. I once got admitted there for viral fever for 8 days. The Doctors were so interested to admit me but the nursing staff were so ignoring. Even though they have a group of building, the rooms were unclean and dark. I some how managed. The housekeeping staffs too are of poor behavior. Once when I accidentally spilled my tea over a lady scolded me like anything. I felt awkward. And the doctor’s rounds were inefficient as they come and scribbled something on my chart and went without even asking how I felt. After all these I got discharged and the nurses even bother to remove my cannula. I got it removed at causality one more thing is that whenever they bill medicines they refuse to give change and not it on the bill telling to collect it next time. Even after a lump sum amount of change, they were not ready to adjust it with the bill. I would never like to call this a hospital which is unclean, misbehaved and not systematic
