Good Story But Not So Good Treatment

I am not well today. You know the viral thing. But I actually want to watch the movie so went for it.

Overall the movie is watchful. The story line is good. This movie is for all age groups as a good contrast is shown between the ages or you can say ’generation gap’.

In earlier days people loves first and then try to settle themselves to marry his dream partner, but today people live for their profession and girls come and go in the course of their life. Good contrast.

I won’t reveal the plot but the story says that their is a couple who met, go around, started knowing each other, likes each other, parts to concentrate on their career. Good till now.

The hero meet an yesteryear person and the director starts showing the contrast between the generations. Good concept but I think the director has left something missing. Showing saif as young Rishi does not go down well.

Saif is more handsome as a Punjabi brat than a young boy. He should now stop thinking himself a young boy. He is not so young now.

In the last quarter the Director confuses in showing how a practical man start feeling that he is in love and he want his love interest in his life. I can’t understand how a person don’t understand that he loves someone and want to spend his life with her.

The story of Rishi is good one and I like its execution (except the saif part). The young love interest of Rishi looks good but I think her acting is to be worked upon.

Now coming to acting Rishi is as always excellent, saif is a good actor, dipika has now evolved as an actress. I want to seee her as a good actress and now she seems to be evolving like one.

The past is shown with good detailing. Set and all other things used gives the entire scene a complete look of 50 years back. The Indian rail, old delhi, hero on cycle following a heroene on rikshaw, heroene sending a message to the hero indirectly with the help of her younger brother, overall an aroma of untouched love with respect to each other and all the elements of that time.

Saif fits as a punjabi boy but see him a young urban practical boy and you will remember his movie (HUM TUM), kind of repeated performance but with more aged looks.

What should I say about dipika. She is gorgeous, tall and smart. My wife just keeps on commenting on her dressing sence (you know girls), she should wear this, that and all. But I like her a lot. She looks good in any dress. I am following her since her modelling days when she is known more as junior padukone and I told my mom that if she go for movies she can become a good actress and here she is.

What more should I say.......

Save the last quarter rest is very good. This is the reason that I gave it 60% marks (three stars).

Should you go for it. Definately yes.

Even old people should also watch it as they can know more about how the youngsters think today.

Thanks for your time.
