I always stressed how exceptionally humorous one of my friends was. Never thought anyone could be funnier. He in turn modestly blushed, denied this and then promptly came up with something even wittier to say. I always admired his ability to make someone laugh. On one cold winter evening over steaming cups of chai, he told me how rotten his life had been due to his constant failure in relationships and how he had read this book and it had changed his life. The next day, I found it in my mailbox with an inscription saying ’’Live a little - laugh even more. You’ll see the lighter side of life through Cosby’s apparent distress’’ I began the book and read it cover to cover the same day. I must say - IT IS HILARIOUS!!! It takes every man (I’m positive even though I’m a woman) down memory lane and I can assure you - you’ll laugh. A LOT. I loved Cosby’s style of writing. If you’ve seen the Cosby show - you’ll know this man is funny. But really, thats just a tv show. Read his book and you’ll be in splits! Its actually an autobiography of his puberty and I’m telling you - Bill Cosby is the King of funnies! from hating girls to trying to score to meeting the one - it’s got it all, neatly tied up in 185 pages. This isn’t a book with which one can comfortably curl up in front of a fire. It will make your insides come out - what with all the laughing. A great great read and an excellent book to gift someone who’s dealing (or not) with puberty.
