A new hunk is going to rock the Bollywood soon (at least can hope so till movie is out then we will decide). Yes I am talking about no other than Harman Baweja who is also Priyanka Chopra’s Love interest (in reel and real life too… so sad…). Harman’s’ debut movie “LOVESTORY 2050” is already hyped. The promos and setting of the movie is in future and the promos being aired are a guarantee that we will see a lot of Hollywood kind of special effects and sci-fi concepts in the movie
But friends I am here to give you a brief idea about the music of movie…… Music in the album is given by Anu Malik (our greatest COPYCAT. Don’t u belive this???) and when I got my hands on the album, I was full of curiosity to see whether Anu Malik has come up with something new to match the expectations of director Harry Baweja. And I have to say that Anu seems to have worked hard on the music of the film. The lyrics of the songs are of Javed Akhtar.
1. ‘Milo Na Milo’: This is the promotional song of the film which has already created sensation cause of its music and dancing Harman. Shaan’s gave his voice to the song and electronic music is very impressive. Song Starts with a little dialogue between Priyanka and Harman and it clearly says that Party is not over yet. Well this song has a nice balance of melody and https://lyrics. The lyric is good as usual from Javed Akhtar and the song is well sung by Shaan who gave his full energy in this song and in my views it is a 100% hit.
2. ‘Meelon Ka Jaisa Tha Fasla’: The next track on the album is Meelon Ka Jaisa Tha Fasla. This song is which is a very melodious track and is slower from the first one. This song appears two times in the album (happy and sad version). Kay Kay and Alka Yagnik gave there voices for both the versions. Anu Malik has got a good melody for this once again and he has utilized western symphonies to make a good track. Kay kay and Alka Yagnik has also done a good job and the lyrics are also good but not exceptional. In my views the happy version of the song is better than the sad version of the song. (U will feel a touch of two older songs of Anu malik “Humko malum hai and Aznabi shaher hai” in this song) and you will like this song after a few listening.
3. ‘Jane Kaisi Hai Teri Meri Love Story’: This is the title track of the movie sung by Shaan would suit in a romantic situation in the movie. Lyrics are fine and it also has feeling of haunted love. In this hero tells her beloved that true loved can not be stopped by anything and how there love story is. But really speaking this song is not as good as a title track should be and won’t get that popular but it is also not that bad either. Same is true for its sad version
4. ‘Sach Kehna’: The third track is sung by Kunal Ganjawala. This is a youthful lovely song composed well by Anu who composed this typical commercial track with some latin tunes in it and having just a little more bass. The lyrics by Javed Akhtar are also effective. This song shows emotion of a lover who ask his beloved how she feel bout him.
5. ‘Lover Boy’: This song will remind you of the 80’s disco beats which are very prominent in the song. This song is sung by Alisha Chinoy and its tune is again picked up from somewhere (a tune pretty much similar to Mortal Combat tune just a little bit slower) and it has taste of vintage Alisha in it. While listening you would feel that you are listening some track of Alisha’s album of the early Ninety’s which never got opportunity to release. This song is having typical Anu Malik music and even the lyrics are not good it. Its type of listen and forget song.
6. ‘Mausam Achanak Ye Badala Kyu’: “Mausam Achanak” is a softer track sung by Shaan and Alka and has good lyrics in it. The music consists of Indian as well as foreign instruments with some good vocals. This songs promises some good cinematography and is good to listen when the weather around is you is quite romantic. This track will not be a hit but will be remembered for its https://lyrics.
7. ‘Aa Gaya Hun Mein’: This is the last original track on the album crooned by Kay Kay and has again typical Anu Malik music in it with some extra bass beats to give it a disco feel. The song is to introduce Harman in a powerful way but the music lacks liveliness to make the notion stronger. The lyrics are not that great and same is true for Kay kay’s voice.
My verdict: Taken as a whole, the album equal no. of Good and so so tracks and these so so tracks are not that bad either. But Only “Milo na Milo” would be remembered over a long period of time and will surely be a hit. I will give 2.5 for this album out of 5……… So will say that no need to buy the album get it download from some site and listen.......
