I happen to come across this book loaded with touchy emotions that is really hard for anyone to remain unperturbed by its aura . I feel really fortunate to have had the chance to read this great work by Erich Segal .
This book is one great piece of work which I think one must read at least once . Everything is put in such a simple n lucid way by the author that it has the least of chance that one may be left out from enjoying the beauty of the wonderful story and the people involved in it . Its really hard for anyone to elude the charismatic effect that it can have on anyone. It has a effect that happens to stir the deepest of emotional strings which may or may not be to ones likings . This is no exaggeration but its just simple as the saying goes ’’Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder’’.
by this I have no intention of putting up an impression that one who doesnt feel the same as me, is void of emotions. But it is just that everyone has their own opinions , their own lineage of thoughts, thats where individualism comes . I have always followed the notion that what may be glittering gold to someone may be a pile of ash to another person . But its really an undaunted effort on the part of the author that he put into words this mind blowing story which can tussle even the most calm and unruffled surface of emotions one can claim to have .Erich Segal has a very adept way of putting all the thoughts into words and his works are so piercing that one can hardly escape . I chanced to read this book when a friend of mine gifted it to me and I really am happy that I have had the chance to read such a marvellous work . like all other books the author is successful in having the same effect as his other books have .Oliver’s story is another great work which is praiseworthy like all others. The most striking feature which struck me is that its not at all necessary to have some thing common for people to fall in love . Oliver and Jenny were so much different but they were the heavenly pair that one may think about. This is some thing really wonderful that I have come across. Another feature which has made a deep impression is that one can stand through thick and thin if one has his or her soulmate to strengthen him or her through the perils of life.the book is unsurpassable and is truly one of the best .
