If India has produced a music genius apart from R.D.Burman, then it is the undoubtedly A.R.Rehman who has already carved out a niche for himself in the music arena.Such has been the unique composition of his music that it has not only taken the Indians by storm but it has mesmerised the westerners.However the recent album’Love you hamesha’ does not meet the expectations of the people.It is not only devoid of the usual rehman’s rythm & melody but it has also lost the pulsating music which is prominent in Rehman’s albums.No doubt the picturisation of the songs is quite good, but it fails to woo the music lovers.I dont think that this gamut of songs will soar to the same level as vande mataram & other filmi albums.May be Rehman has produced some uniqueness in this album, but ’Love you hamesha’ has so far not got into the music lover’s heart.As a rehman product, it is simply a flop.
