The series based on DC’s comics is intriguing to say the least and fun to watch. It’s mainly because of the brilliant work of lead actor Tom Ellis, who does not look anything like his comic counterpart. But he is funny, witty, charming and carries the serial single handedly.
That is not to say that the supporting cast does a bad job. You will especially like characters such as Mazikeen and Dr. Linda Martin. The lead female character and lucifer’s love interest, Chloe Decker, played by Lauren German is meh.
Many a times you will feel that there is a lot of drama going around, provided that the series is about the devil himself. But none of it is unnecessary. The series also features some amazing rock tracks that suit the mood of the series and Lucifer’s personality perfectly.
Overall, watch this for a very well made and endearing protagonist, and for a good plot.
