This movie is by Ranjeet Tiwari’s and through this film, he started his career in directing a film.
This film is based on the real story and life’s struggle and how dreams come true are seen through this film.
In a Muradabad, A kishan(Farhan Akhtar) is a singer and by forming a band and to entertain all world’s people is his dream.
He is biggest fan of Manoj Tiwari and in one concert he desperately want to give his own songs CD to him but there is fisticuffs of Kishan happened with IAS police.
And on the same night that IAS Police murder is happened and kishan gets arrested in charge of that IAS police murder.
He went in Lucknow Central jail for life imprisonment.
He started to form band in jail and then he met Gayatri(Diana Pinto) who runs a NGO.
She encourage all prisoners to perform band music for 15th August event.
During this due to CM(Ravi Kishan) request, kishan took responsibility to make a band of Lucknow Central.
Gayatri started to help him.
While making this band kishan has his own plan to run from jail and for this he started searching certain people like Pandit(Rajesh Sharma)who is electrician, Victor(Deepak Dobariyal) who is tailor, Dikkat who is making duplicate keys.
Ronit roy is in role of jailor and they all get frustredted because of Ronit Roy’s cruel behaviour.
But music form a bond between all of them and jailor also must behave good with all people in jail beacause of CM.
And in all this how those five prisoner got there freedom is the story of film.
Farhan Akhtar make a good body for role but he never fit in that role, for example he was not able to accent of UP boy.
Deepak Dobariyal and Rajesh Sharma are two strongest side of film, they give their best but still Ronit roy and Ravi kishan looks more impressive.
Also, Diana Pinto did good job.
Farhan Akhtar fails to carry this role.
Music of film is average, "Kaavaan Kaavaan" by divya kumar and "Teen Kabutar" by Mohit Chauhan and Divya Kumar, Raftaar are okay.
Cinematography is not good, all the time all actors except diana pinto and ronit roy are in weired dresses.
So, we went to movie with lots of hopes but this film is worth only in last 40 minutes otherwise it is too boring.
