I have been to Lucknow- The city of Nawabs, Tehzeeb and Adab recently and the place is really awesome. It is a grand mixture of culture and tradition. The architecture is splendid especially in the Chowk area.
The Imambara has a splendid garden and the place is particularly photogenic. The Bhulbhulaia was fun.
The people at lucknow were hospitable and helping. What particularly caught my attention was their strange sing song accent.
Ambedkar park was a brilliant piece of architecture
Hazrutgunj was a great experience. You can get the best goods at the cheapest rates.
It is a perfect place for a casual getaway. one should also try to visit the cities of allahabad, varanasi aligarh etc.
I’ve also heard that the university is one of the best seats of learning in the country.
The roads were clean at most of the places. some of the places were dirty but that can be excused.
Given a chance I’ll visit Lucknow again
