I watched two movies this weekend..... Both of them too bad.....wasted my weekend totally...... Lucky was the first one and here it goes about it...
I was totally against watching this movie as it was very clear from the previews that it aint my kinda a movie.... but since I had nothing to do on the weekend.... decided to go for it.....My friend again too keen on watching sneha ullal, the aish lookalike ...
The movie started nice... with some girl writing a letter to india about her ventures into russia and how she could not find anything she used to find in india..(Eatables of course my weakness) but that was all that was nice because as soon as sneha made the entry every hope of a decent movie went away..... 2 minutes into the movie I was seriously hoping that she will mature and come out of this childish nature bfore she meets the macho man sallu ;-) but was not to be...
Half an hour later she was singing songs with him.....in what was that... a russian graveyard..... so here is one more nice mention of the movie .. the music... it was superb.....really liked the songs..... ok enough of nice things.... How can u call anything nice in LUCKY......
Throughout the movieI was thinking as to what the story behind the movie is.... and mithun da, he sure has to come to his age.... doing some james bond stunts and behaving like a stupid will not do him any good at this age.....
And what were other actors doing in the movie.... vikram gokhale(I hope he was the indian ambassador and I have iot right), kadar khan.... and many others they were simply superb in the 30 seconds of fame each of them got....
I do not know what was the director thinking when he made this movie.... and still its going hit... at least here in b’lore..no tickets were to be fouond this weekend as welll.......
Superb patience indian public has.... I felt as if I could kill sallu(Sallu fans sorry but he needs to understand my plight as well...) how (un)comic can he get .....
Overall a stupid movie to watch.... especially if you are going with your beloved....
