Lucky is a basically a good film but not that gr8. the reason for success lies in the innovation and freshness of the film. for eg if the film would have been shoot in say usa or uk it wouldn’t have the same impact.everything is fresh and new in this film and that’s what made it somewhat successful.there was a new actress, salman never took off his shirt, mithun had a role and that too a little comic , all these things made some good viewing. Salman does his role with ease qnd mithun gives a surprisingly normal performance. The lowpoint of the film would be the ash look alike sneha ullal. Though it was not a bad performance for a debutant she really needs to work on her voice. Its almost as if she has a really bad throat!!.the film could have done without so much Russian which obiviosly none gonna understand. Atleast there should be some hindi or English subtitles. The plot is alright but fails to explain the surprise appearances of mithun. Basically an average film but serves as a good timepass.
