IRRESPONSIBILITY & RUDENESS GO TOGETHER

THIS IS THE INCIDENT HAPPENED WITH MY FROTHER RECENTLY.


I HAVE EXPERIENCED THE COLD SERVICE AND INHOSPITALITY OF LUFTHANSA.


ALSO I HAVE SO MANY FRIENDS WHO HATE THIS AIRLINES BUT SOMETIMES HAVE TO FLY ( MAJBOORI) YOU KNOW ???


THE EXPERIENCE AS NARRATED BY MY BROTHER SATISH GUPTA IS AS UNDER:-


RE :   FLIGHT NO.LH 757 FROM BOMBAY TO FRANKFURT


DATED 1ST DECEMBER, 2005 DEPT.3.25 ARRIVAL

CONNECTING FLIGHT NO.LH 502 FROM FRANKFURT


TO BUENOS AIRES


I AM A REGULAR TRAVELLER AND SOMETIMES USE LUFTHANSA AIRLINES.


THIS TIME, I HAD A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE RIGHT FROM THE


TICKETING. I WAS FLYING BUSINESS CLASS GOING ROUND


THE WORLD FROM BOMBAY TO FRANKFURT AND FRANKFURT TO


BUENOS AIRES WITH HAULT IN FRANKFURT FOR 14 HOURS. I


REPEATEDLY REQUESTED MANY A TIMES TO THE RESERVATIONS


AS WELL AS SALES DIRECTLY AND THROUGH MY AGENTS AND


EACH TIME THEY JUST TURNED MY REQUEST DOWN. NOW, I


HAD NO CHOICE SO I BOOKED HOTEL SHERATON AT EURO


139.00 ON MY OWN.


MY PURPOSE TO VISIT BUENOS AIRES IS PURELY BUSINESS


AND I WAS TO BE THERE ON THE 2ND BECAUSE THE


EXHIBITION (IN WHICH WE HAVE PARTICIPATED) STARTS FROM


THE 2ND. AFTER CHECKING IN THEY CHECKED MY BAGS ALL


THE WAY TO BUENOS AIRES AND I WAITED TO TAKE THE


FLIGHT FROM BOMBAY TO FRANKFURT ALONG WITH A FEW


HUNDRED PASSENGERS ALL WAITING AT THE AIR CRAFT GATE


RIGHT UP TO 7.30 WITHOUT ANY SERVICES OF TEA, COFFEE


OR SNACKS. THEREAFTER, ALL THE PASSENGERS GOT UPSET


AND THESE PEOPLE FINALLY ANNOUNCED THAT THE FLIGHT IS


CANCELLED AND THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY HOTELS AVAILABLE


AND THERE IS NO WAY THEY CAN GET THE EMIGRATION


CANCELLED SO ALL HAVE TO WAIT 1 ½ HOUR TILL THEY


MANAGE THINGS AND THEN THEY OFFERED BREAKFAST.


A FEW ADVENTUROUS AND DESPERATE TRAVELLERS LIKE ME GOT


OUR WAY TO THE EMIGRATION AND PUT OURSELVES IN AN


ALTERNATIVE FLIGHT WITH GREAT DIFFICULTIES AND ALSO BY


FACING DIFFICULTIES OF INDIRECT FLIGHTS AND LOSS OF


TIME. EVEN TO MY REPEATED REQUESTS TO ENSURE MY


BAGGAGE IS IN THE FLIGHT SO THAT I CAN GET IT IN


BUENOS AIRES ON TIME FOR MY EXHIBITION THAT IS ON THE


2ND DECEMBER, THEY DID NOT CO-OPERATE AT ALL AND TOLD


ME THAT I WILL GET THE BAGGAGE ONE DAY LATER. BY


THIS, I WILL LOSS MY BUSINESS BY MINIMUM EURO 1, 00000


BECAUSE I WILL BE IN EXHIBITION WITH NOTHING. MY


LOSSES ARE AS FOLLOWS :

EURO 100000 LOSS OF BUSINESS


EURO       150 PERSONAL ITEMS BOUGHT


EURO       500 UNNECESSARY TRAUMA
