This movie has average story with masala tadka of remix songs. Concept of this film is good but direction could have more better. Kartik Aryan and Kirti Sanon is looking good together in this film. Kartik Aryan is perfect actor for comedy genre films. His Pyaar Ka Punchnama Series and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety are superb films. Kirti Sanon is good too for comedy genre films. She had done excellent acting in Bareilley Ki Barfi.
The first part of Luka Chupi is quite good regarding live-in relationship. But after the interval the movie has nothing to tell. Kartik Aryan and Kirti Sanon wants to try live-in but they got busted by their families and at last their families accept the marriage but want to gets married because in reality they never got married. So the second half is all about how they try to get married.
Everything have shown very fast like South Indian comedy films. According to the name of this film, Luka Chupi should have shown more during live-in relationship. Characters of Pankaj Tripathy and Vinay Pathak are good in this film. Other supporting cast like Aparshakti Khurana and the person who has played the Kartik Aryan’s elder brother role are good too in this film. Music is good. Almost songs are remake of earlier songs. Music of hindi version of song laung lachi should have better. Poster lagwa do song is missing and coca cola song is at the ending. We can see the chote miya youtuber in this film but his role is very limited.
After all film is one time watch and I will rate it 3 star out of 5.
